ASOClimb Wow Keywords starts from your app. It reads your listing, your competitors and the store’s own search suggestions in each country you pick, scores every candidate keyword, and writes listing variants that fit the store’s limits. Everything runs on ASOClimb’s servers: there is no AI account to connect and no API key to paste.

Wow Keywords reads your listing (title, description and category), finds the apps ranking for your main term or uses the competitors you chose, and asks the store’s own autocomplete what people type after the first letters of each term. Terms that name a competitor’s brand are left out. Each country gets at most 60 store reads, and every read is cached.
Each candidate gets one store search, best first, until 50 are scored per country. From the results it models popularity, difficulty, relevance to your listing and opportunity, each from 0 to 100. A term with relevance below 40 is listed as dropped, not written.
Every country runs in its own language. Your listing and your competitors are read in that storefront and the local suggestion feed expands them, so a German run gives German terms the German store suggested, not translations of English ones.
A rule-based writer turns the scores into three listing variants that keep your app’s name and fit the limits: on the App Store a title (30), subtitle (30) and 100-character keyword field with no spaces; on Google Play a title (30) and short description (80). It skips repeated words, plurals of words already used and competitor brands, and only writes a phrase into a title or short description when its relevance is at least 50. Optional AI-written variants from ASOClimb’s own model must pass the same checks.
Applying a variant saves it as a draft in ASOClimb (nothing is published to the store) and records where your app ranks today for the run’s keywords. On Pro, a weekly report then shows each keyword’s rank change since that baseline, new top-10 keywords and keywords no longer ranked.
Example from a real run: Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax, Google Play, United States, 1 November 2026. Scores are modeled, not store-reported search volume.
The top 8 of the 50 keywords this run kept (20 more were scored and dropped), best opportunity first. P is the modeled popularity index, not store-reported Google Play search volume; D is difficulty, Rel relevance to the listing and O opportunity, all modeled 0–100 (score version asoclimb-wow-keywords-v1).
| Keyword | P | D | Rel | O |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| human sleep meditate relax | 100 | 67 | 78 | 26 |
| meditate | 82 | 69 | 90 | 23 |
| relaxation and meditation tools | 99 | 60 | 57 | 23 |
| bedtime relax | 100 | 67 | 56 | 18 |
| breathing app | 74 | 64 | 51 | 14 |
| breathing exercise app | 62 | 57 | 47 | 13 |
| mindfulness coach | 82 | 61 | 42 | 13 |
| sleep number | 58 | 48 | 42 | 13 |
The run’s three rule-based variants, exactly as written. The listing’s live title was “Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax”. Coverage is the share of the run’s keywords the fields cover, weighted by modeled popularity, from 0 to 100: before is the live listing, after is the variant.
{Brand}: {phrase}{Brand} - {phrase}{Brand} {phrase}Some keyword tools hand the work to an AI you bring yourself: you install Claude Code or Codex, or paste your own API key and pay the model bill, then hope the prompt reads the store correctly.
Wow Keywords does not. The store reads, the scoring and the rule-based writer run on ASOClimb’s servers, and the optional AI-written variants use ASOClimb’s own model there too. You paste an app link and pick countries; that is the whole setup.
Popularity, difficulty, relevance and opportunity are models built from evidence the stores publish: their autocomplete suggestions, the apps ranking for a term, those apps’ rating counts and ratings, and your own listing. Neither store publishes search volume, so no score here is one. The exact formulas, weights and caps are public.
Wow Keywords is in both ASOClimb plans. Free costs $0; Pro costs $10 a month or $100 a year.

ASOClimb’s hosted MCP server includes Wow Keywords, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex can start a run, read the result and save a variant as a draft from a conversation. The work still runs on ASOClimb’s servers and counts against the same plan allowance.

No. Neither store publishes search volume. Popularity is a modeled index built from how early the store suggests a term as people type and from the rating counts of the apps already ranking for it. Use it to compare keywords with each other, not as a count of searches.

No. Applying a variant saves it as a metadata draft in ASOClimb and records where your app ranks today for the run’s keywords. You copy the text into App Store Connect or the Google Play Console yourself when you are ready.
Yes. For the App Store it writes a title (30 characters), a subtitle (30) and a keyword field (100). Google Play has no keyword field, so there it writes a title (30) and a short description (80).
Each country runs in that storefront’s language. Your listing and your competitors are read in that storefront and the local suggestion feed expands them, so a run for Germany gives German keywords and German variants.
Yes. They are optional and come from ASOClimb’s own model. Each one must pass the same rules as the rule-based writer: within the character limits, keeping your app’s name, no competitor brand names. A variant that fails is dropped, and the rule-based variants always remain.
The checker scores one keyword you type. Wow Keywords starts from your app, finds and scores the candidates for you in every country you pick, and writes the listing fields.
Paste an App Store or Google Play link, pick up to 3 countries, and Wow Keywords does the rest. The Free plan includes 1 run a month.
